As Cidades Invisíveis é o novo espetáculo teatral do Agora Coletivo, em parceria com a Híbrido Produções e a Plateia Produções Artísticas. Com imagens enigmáticas, sua narrativa beira a linguagem dos sonhos e faz uma analogia entre as “cidades” e as atrizes do trabalho. Inspirada na personalidade de cada uma delas, As Cidades Invisíveis é uma trajetória por suas histórias autobiográficas.

O processo teve como ponto de partida o livro homônimo de Ítalo Calvino e caminhadas por ruas do centro histórico de Curitiba, e carrega na dramaturgia aspectos dessa cidade. A noção de “território” enquanto identidade e de “corpo” enquanto território delineia um discurso que transita entre as ideias de viagem e morada, convite e expulsão, invasão e acolhimento.

Diante de tempos tão inflamados, com ideais tão díspares entre as pessoas, como conviver com as diferenças em um mesmo espaço, casa, cidade, estado, país? Falar de cidades de forma poética – inspirados pelo modo como Calvino o faz – é uma maneira de colocar em perspectiva e de sensibilizar para o quanto viver em sociedade significa troca entre indivíduos complexos e repletos de subjetividades.

Now it is new show

The Invisible Cities is the new show of Agora Collective, in partnership with the Hybrid Productions and the Plateia Produções Artísticas. With enigmatic images, his narrative borders on the language of dreams and draws an analogy between the “cities” and the actresses of work. Inspired by the personality of each of them, The Invisible Cities is a trajectory for their autobiographical stories.

The process had as its starting point Ítalo Calvino’s book of the same name, as well as walks through the streets of the historical center of Curitiba, and carries in dramaturgy aspects of that city. The notion of “territory” as identity and “body” as territory delineates a discourse that transits between ideas of travel and lodging, invitation and expulsion, invasion and welcome.

In the face of times so inflamed, with ideals so disparate among people, how to live with differences in the same space, home, city, state, country? To speak of cities in a poetic way – inspired by the way Calvino does it – is a way of putting in perspective and of sensitizing to how much to live in society means exchange between complex individuals and full of subjectivities.
